A Loving Tribute

Bonnie Jean McComas Orr

December 16, 1929 – December 16, 2021
Submitted by Sally Pahler

Bonnie chose her 92nd birthday to leave this earth. We believe her sister Arlene came to take her home that morning for a lovely heavenly party with her four siblings. Bonnie was a gifted writer, a voracious reader, a student of history, and a dedicated Christian. She was well-traveled, living in Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado, Alaska, and Wyoming, and visiting several other places. She was born at the beginning of the Great Depression and endured many hardships in her lifetime, making her a very “tough “and determined individual. Her professional career included executive secretary for several attorneys, a major airline, and two radio stations.

Bonnie walked everywhere well into her late eighties and lived independently until the last year of her life. She always did the best she could with whatever circumstances life brought her.

Bonnie Jean has gone home…..
