The Charmed group is a volunteer group that hand-creates incredible things to support our mission. They have made aprons out of donated button up shirts, throw pillows, fidget mats, and countless other things sold in our Heirlooms stores.
The group recently created mitten ornaments for the upcoming holiday season. Cindy, one of the Charmed volunteers, used to teach quilting, silk ribbon embroidery, and French ribbon flower making. She offered to lead the group and teach them how to make the mitten ornaments!
With a creative eye and practiced hand, she walked everyone through making these delicately beautiful ornaments. Cindy became involved with volunteering after HopeWest cared for her mom. She specifically became involved with the Charmed group after her friend Sue convinced her it would be a great fit.
“It’s just a lovely way to give back with the gifts that God has given me, and I love sharing them. I love teaching the ladies anything I can,” Cindy said.
Thank you Cindy, for sharing your talents with us, we can’t wait to see what else you create!
Keep an eye out for these beautiful mitten ornaments in our Heirlooms stores this holiday season.
