Cheryl passed away with her family at her side on November 14th after a long courageous battle with cancer. Throughout the ten-year journey, she approached each setback with great strength, a positive outlook, and humor. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Cheryl and her husband Randy were together for 46 years, running a business and sharing many adventures. Establishing The Tile Meister over 30 years ago, Cheryl was the multi-tasking office manager who kept everything running on schedule and helped build the kitchen and bathroom remodeling business to what it is today. She enjoyed working with customers in the showroom, ensuring their ideas came to fruition. She was a Master certified Scuba Diver, sailed in Mexico and throughout the Caribbean, and rafted rivers in Colorado, Arizona, and Idaho. She loved Palisade, CO where she lived in her grandparents’ house, opened their first Tile Meister showroom, and Chaired the Palisade Peach Festival for two years. For years her smiling face could be seen at the concession stand at the Palisade Little League. She was always thinking of others and would enjoy sharing the bounty of the harvest through her celebrated creations. A favorite for decades was her Peach Salsa, which she won first place at the Palisade Peach Festival. She loved her son Tony, who participated in many adventures and joined the business 20 years ago. Although she only had one son, she was a mother to many. Cheryl loved her two grandsons, Elijah and Ethan, with every fiber of her being. Spending time with them through family dinners, watching Hockey practice, traveling to tournaments, and travel adventures to new places. Cheryl loved shopping, especially if there was a deal or sale to be found.
She is waiting in Heaven for her husband, Randy, her son, Tony, and wife, Cassondra her grandsons, Elijah and Ethan, and their mother, Crystal, her father, Merrit, and siblings, Anita, Laura, and Craig. She will be deeply missed by her Tile Meister family and so many friends.
A celebration for Cheryl will be held at the Orchard River View in Palisade on January 5, 2025, 1:00 – 4:00 pm.
