Nowhere else on the Western Slope will you find a boutique that is good for our environment, features locally made products, sells famous Chalk Paint® by Annie Sloan and benefits a non-profit – until now.

Charmed by Heirlooms will host its grand opening celebration on Thursday, June 18 at 9:30am – 8:00pm in downtown Grand Junction at 635 Main Street.

The store features upcycled and repurposed items crafted by a talented group of local volunteers. The store’s merchandise is a blend of home decor, furniture, gifts and accessories. Each piece reflects a passion reimagining the ordinary and creating treasures that are reloved, rekindled and refreshed.

“When others may see flaws, we see opportunity- headboards turn into benches, silk shirts into beautiful scarves, broken jewelry into unique pieces that you’ll only find in our store,” said Wendy Hayduk, Director of Retail and Design.

The store is a stockist for Chalk Paint® by Annie Sloan, one of the bestselling brands on the market, and is the only retailer between Denver and Salt Lake City. Weekly classes will offer opportunities for the public to learn how to do it themselves – using the Annie Sloan paint techniques.

When you purchase merchandise at Charmed by Heirlooms, you are supporting the mission of HopeWest. Proceeds from Charmed help provide hospice, palliative care and grief support to anyone in need across the Western Slope.

Charmed is open Monday –Saturday from 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and will be open later in the evening for Farmers Market on Thursdays.

Director of Retail and Design, Wendy Hayduk, will be available for interviews from 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 18. To schedule an interview call Alyssa Hampson at 970-683-4921.
