Wanda Kurtz

Wanda Joyce Kurtz was born on May 2, 1958, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Leslie “Sonny” Kurtz and Barbara Neel Meeks. She lived most of her life in Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents. She leaves behind her children, Michael (Lisa) Kurtz, Samuel Hinkson, and Virginia Walker; two brothers, Shane and Robert Lindsey; two sisters, Robyn Lindsey and Lynda Kurtz; including fourteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Wanda loved being on the beach, collecting sand dollars and all kinds of shells. Wanda absolutely loved a good Whataburger with jalapenos. Wanda spent parts of her life in Utah, Colorado, and Idaho. She enjoyed fishing and camping in the mountains and Johnny Cash, Tanya Tucker, and Doctor Hook music, to name a few of the many artists she always listened to. Wanda’s smile could light up a room, and she will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
