William (Bill) Jesse Fuehrer was born June 24, 1936, in Toledo, OH to Harold W Fuehrer and Dorathea E (Rabenstein) Fuehrer and passed away June 2, 2024, in Grand Junction, CO. Bill was a 1954 graduate of Waite High School. He married the love of his life, Janet J Williams on July 13, 1957.

Bill and Janet moved to Perrysburg, OH in 1973 to raise their children. Bill retired from Libbey Owens Ford Company (East Toledo and Rossford). After retirement, he moved with his wife to Colorado Springs, CO to be near their children. Following his wife’s retirement, they moved to Sun City Grand, Surprise, AZ, and enjoyed the socialization and opportunities offered by the adult living community before moving back to Colorado Springs, CO.

He enjoyed family get-togethers, entertaining friends, hiking, biking, downhill skiing, and time relaxing on Florida beaches; along with, volunteering for charities and being actively involved in the numerous churches he was a member of in the communities where he lived.

Bill is survived by his wife Janet, his children Diana Hall (Chris), Beth Harvey (Rick), and David Fuehrer (Carrie), his brother James Fuehrer and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by both of his parents and his sister Laura Fuehrer.

The family would like to especially thank the staff at Aspen Ridge Alzheimer’s Center, La Villa Grande Care Center, and HopeWest Hospice Care for the exceptional care that was given to Bill.
